Naturally dyed cord will fade over time. Keep dry and wash only when necessary using cold water and a gentle detergent.
All copper pieces have been sealed but this may breakdown over time. If you notice the copper turning green, give it a wipe with a polishing cloth (applying a clear wax will maintain it's shine).
